Making an Appointment

We value your time and your trust in us.

How to Book an Appointment

To make an appointment obtain a current referral from your GP or specialist.

About Referrals

Referrals are available from most GP clinics and other medical specialists.
  • A GP referral for consultation is valid for 12 months.
  • A referral for a consultation from a Specialist is valid for 3 months.
The referral will also enable you to be eligible for a Medicare rebate on certain services. For additional information on referrals please contact our staff.

Our reception staff and booking staff are happy to advise you on this when making a booking or on the day of an appointment.

Appointment Arrival

Please arrive a little before your scheduled appointment time as there can be some documentation or other matters to attend to before your appointment.

It is also helpful if you bring all the necessary documents to ensure a smooth process.

What to Expect

When you attend your appointment you will be greeted by our friendly reception staff upon arriving and your details will be recorded.

Our comfortable waiting room has magazines and refreshments while you wait to be seen for your appointment.

Please review the answers to some common questions relating to Appointments and our Booking Policies
  • APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATIONS

Mobile phone SMS or text messages are sent from our computer, if you do not intend to keep your appointment you do not need to respond.

The text message also has the location of your appointment at the end of the message.

Patients without mobile phones need to phone the rooms to confirm one working day prior to the appointment.

Alternately you can email a confirmation to the practice.

  • LATE ARRIVALS

Late Arrivals Make it Difficult for Everyone

We do understand that circumstances may arise unexpectedly, however, late arrivals tend to compromise the punctuality of service we are able to provide to you, as well as our other patients.

We do maintain a relatively tight schedule, and we make every attempt to begin your appointment at the time scheduled.

If you arrive late we reserve the right to reschedule or reduce the length of the consultation or procedure to ensure that their next scheduled appointment does not have to be put behind.

If you believe you will be late it would be appreciated if you could call ahead and advise the reception as alternative arrangements may be possible.

  • APPOINTMENT CANCELLATIONS

Due to the difficulty of filling in last-minute cancellations, we respectfully request 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend.

  • PAYMENT METHODS

Your consultation fee is expected to be settled on the day of consultation.

These accounts can be paid via

    • EFT,
    • Visa Card,
    • Mastercard,
    • Cheque
    • Cash.
